Summary

T Levels are new hands-on, technical qualifications equivalent to three A Levels. This two-year qualification is for recent school-leavers who are looking to gain the knowledge and skills to work in the IT sector, particularly software development. T-Levels offer a mix of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement. This technical course gives the necessary knowledge and skills for a career in IT providing a sound base for entry into the workforce, or as an apprentice. Also, successful completion of this qualification opens doors for advancing to higher education courses and further training opportunities.

The course will introduce the core industry topics, including programming, coding, utilisation of data, and the diverse digital platforms. It will also provide insights into the potential security challenges confronting organisations, teaching you to analyse issues and identify computer program solutions. You’ll gain the fundamentals of data science, emerging technologies, networking and cybersecurity.
