Summary

Curriculum integration of interprofessional education is part of the formation and development of health professions students at Saint Louis University.

Interprofessional learning experiences start as early as freshman year. These embedded experiences provide students the opportunity to engage in teams to learn and practice the skills required to become collaborative person-centered health professionals.

As undergraduates, any SLU student can earn the concentration in interprofessional practice, and the following professional programs embed the concentration into their curriculum:

Athletic training (B.S. in exercise science)
Exercise and wellness (B.S. in exercise science) 
Nursing (B.S.)
Nutrition and dietetics (B.S.)
Occupational therapy (B.S. in occupational science)
Physical therapy (B.S. in exercise science)
