Summary

Having a degree in management is useful if you want to become, or be recognised for being a professional manager – taking responsibility for projects, people, operations and/or services to deliver long-term organisational success.

BA (Hons) Management Practice is a part-time, work-based qualification designed around the needs of you and your employer.

As a student you will be in either paid or unpaid employment and apply your learning to your organisation, thus supporting and adding value to the organisation while you learn. Successful completion of the course gives you an honours degree and the opportunity to apply for membership of the Chartered Management Institute, a professional body membership that is recognised and valued across all sectors.

You could be from any sector, in any size organisation – wanting to become a professional manager. Or you could be an existing manager with practical experience wanting a more structured learning approach and further development.
