Summary

This Level 3 music production course based at our Digbeth campus is suitable for recent school leavers and adults who are looking for a successful career in music production, studio engineering or live sound. The course is very practical and you will have the opportunity to develop your music production techniques through sequencing and production in one of our Mac sequencing suites and professional recording studios. Live sound techniques are taught in our 350-seat auditorium (The Crossing) which hosts many artists, from college students to visiting performers, such as award-winning artist Tom Walker. Music production students will have the opportunity to provide the sound for these performances and you can attend performances from visiting artists.

 

Learn to thrive in the current industry landscape and to excel in the music scene of the future. Explore music production in our state-of-the-art Mac sequencing suites and recording studios. Our studios feature professional mixing consoles (Audient, Soundcraft, Yamaha, Behringer) and iMacs equipped with Logic X and Cubase software. Learn live sound techniques in our 350-seat auditorium, The Crossing, using Midas Pro 2 and Avid Profile consoles, along with a 64-track Pro Tools recording setup.
