Summary: T Levels are new hands-on, technical qualifications equivalent to three A Levels. This two-year qualification is for recent school-leavers who are looking to gain the knowledge and skills to work in the engineering sector. T-Levels offer a mix of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 45 days. This technical course gives the necessary knowledge and skills for a career in the engineering industry, providing a foundation for entry into the workforce or as an apprentice. Also, successful completion of this qualification opens doors for advancing to higher education courses and further training opportunities.

You will learn the fundamental theory, concepts, and skills for engineering, around design, automation, and manufacturing within the realms of electrical and mechanical engineering. Second year learning will see an occupational specialism (machining and toolmaking technologies).
