Summary

Pediatric primary care nurse practitioners focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions in pediatric offices as well as school, community, urgent care and specialty settings. Students who pursue the primary care pediatric nurse practitioner post-master's certificate at Saint Louis University Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing will be prepared to provide care to patients from birth through 21 years of age.

At the Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing, we partner with our students on clinical placement. Besides being paired with faculty mentors with expertise in the students' desired fields of study, Saint Louis University helps students obtain preceptors for their clinical rotations.
