Summary
The Undergraduate Certificate in Business Administration teaches students core foundational concepts, preparing them to succeed in their professional careers. The program empowers them to use relevant business knowledge, think critically, solve problems, communicate, and make decisions in an ethical and professional manner.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Differentiate and discuss the functional components of business – economics, marketing, accounting, finance, law, and management.
- Assess interrelationship between business and the external variables such as suppliers, social forces of government, and the community.
- Identify and explain the possible advantages and barriers to doing business in a global marketplace, and understand the role of communications and its importance for problem-solving.
- Understand the basic concepts of the legal system and process especially as it pertains to the conduct of commerce, including dispute resolution and among various business entities.
